The American singer-songwriter then retweeted the video, adding the comment "this is gorgeous," along with mentioning BLACKPINK's Twitter account and the hashtag with Rose's name.

In response, fans and BLACKPINK fanbase accounts on social media immediately commented, expressing hope for a future collaboration between the two superstars. One fanbase account, @rosefeeds, left a simple and straightforward comment, "you should collab with her," assuming that a collaboration between them might happen soon.

Meanwhile, the account @roseygif also offered supportive comments, wishing for the two stars to meet soon and discuss potential collaboration, "hope you two can meet soon and discuss about the music you both enjoy (and maybe do a collab)."

Both artists have recently released their latest works. In March, Rose unveiled her debut solo single album, 'R,' which sold over half a million copies within a month of its release. This achievement made her the first South Korean female solo artist to surpass the half-million sales mark in 19 years.

On the other hand, John Mayer released the lead single 'Last Train Home' for his upcoming eighth full album, 'Sob Rock,' scheduled for release on July 16. This album marks Mayer's first release since his last album, 'The Search For Everything,' four years ago.

If these two stars indeed collaborate, their work is bound to make waves. Both exude a unique aura and charm that fans find irresistible, no matter how simple it may be. So, let's eagerly await further updates from John Mayer and Rose – who knows, it might just become a reality.
